FITS is A&P's central resource for cross-function dashboards and reports. As the Data Governance and Tableau Projects lead for A&P, we have the resources and expertise to assist departments across A&P with their analytics needs.
Requests for a new report or dashboard can be submitted via a Report Request through our intake form.

Project Kick-off
After receipt of the report request, a FITS team member will reach out to clarify the details of the request and set expectations on delivery of the requested report. If the scope of the request warrants, a meeting will be set to review the project in further detail. During this initial fact finding phase, we will work with you to:
- Identify the data sources for the report
- Establish goals of the report
- Determine a timeline for delivering the report
- Identify the population of users that will be provided access
- Determine how the ongoing maintenance of the report will be achieved
Report Development
Once the scope of the report is determined, the FITS team will determine the best method of delivering the requested report. Additionally, should the report require the inclusion of data outside of the A&P data domain, FITS will work to establish access to the external data and explore whether the access should be setup as an ongoing connection or if a one-time request is sufficient. Throughout the development process, the report will be reviewed by FITS team members and the requestor for accuracy and usability. Depending on the report, a review might be necessary for compliance with security classification, accessibility, and branding standards.
Deployment
When testing has been completed and the requestor has approved the report, the report will be deployed to its final environment and appropriate access permissions will be set. FITS will also work with the requestor to conduct training or develop the documentation necessary to derive the most value from the report or dashboard.
