What We Expect from You
Student employees have the opportunity to earn up to 320 AXP hours while working in FITS.
Experience Setting O
All hours in FITS must be logged under Experience Setting O, Design or Construction Related Employment.
Hours should be entered as bulk time, not as average weekly hours. You may need to use the website instead of the app to enter bulk hours.
If you wish to include images of any building models you completed during your time with FITS in your portfolio, please note that drawings of University buildings are not considered public data according to the Institutional Data Policy. Therefore, refrain from sharing them when identifying information is included in the image. Please follow the guidelines below:
FITS is A&P's central resource for cross-function dashboards and reports. As the Data Governance and Tableau Projects lead for A&P, we have the resources and expertise to assist departments across A&P with their analytics needs.
Requests for a new report or dashboard can be submitted via a Report Request through our intake form.
The following standards have been developed through partnership of the FITS developer resources with the goal of creating common development practices that will ensure the team is capable of supporting each other's work while also fostering continual improvement.
Languages
FITS has established preferences in choice of programming language for development. Team members should default to the following languages for the given needs.
